Ready to take off? Lights, camera, action! 

In this exciting competition, we invite you to create a captivating 2 to 4-minute video that showcases your passion, talent, and dedication to the hospitality industry. Your video should answer these 7 questions:

  1. Who Are You? Your name and one wild fact about you – go!
  2. Culture Blend: How will you bring your culture into American hospitality?
  3. Why You? What unique mix of qualities, ideas, or dreams makes you a must-have for this experience?
  4. Dream Role: What department are you interested in, and why would your role be essential within hospitality?
  5. Your Impact: What would you like to see more in the hospitality industry in the future?
  6. USA Adventure: What does the 'American Dream' mean to you in the context of a hospitality career in the USA?
  7. Big Thanks: End with a shout out to someone who's inspired your hospitality journey. Could be anyone from a celebrity chef to your grandma!

How to participate in the competition?

  • CHECK YOUR ELIGIBILITY: All participants must pass the Program Eligibility Test. Make sure you complete the the form by the 15th of June 2024.
  • CREATE A VIDEO: Once you've passed the Eligibility Test, move forward to the video creation:
    - TOPIC: 7 lucky questions.
    - LENGTH: 2 to 4 minutes.
    - FORMAT: MP4, AVI, or MOV.
    - LANGUAGE: English.
    - ORIGINAL CONTENT: Participants are required to create original content, ensuring that the video is not plagiarized or infringing on copyrights.
    - VIDEO SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 20th of June 2024.
  • PROMOTION AND VOTING: After the submission period, our team will pick the top two videos. These will go up on Hosco Instagram for public voting via likes and shares.
  • The winner will be announced on the 26th of June 2024.

Who is eligible to participate?

The main eligibility criteria:

- Must be 18-35 years old.

- Must be currently enrolled in a recognised educational institution of hospitality, or recently graduated.

- Must be a professional working in the hospitality industry with at least 5 years experience. 

We encourage you to take the eligibility test to find out more.

How do I enter the competition?

To enter, participants must take the eligibility test to find out if their profile is eligible for the J1 visa program. The Fast Track team will evaluate the profile and within 24 hours will inform the candidate about the status of the profile.

Only after receiving the confirmation about your eligibility we encourage you to start working on the video creation. 

What are the prizes?

The winner receives a 12-Month Hospitality or Culinary J-1 Intern or Trainee scholarship worth USD 3,995 in the USA. Participants of the Scholarship Competition will also have access to the program discounts!

How will winners be selected?

When the submission period ends, the Fast Track team will review all videos and choose the top two videos. These selected videos will then be featured on the company's Instagram page @hoscojobs, where the public can vote by liking and sharing their favorites. Don't forget to rally your friends, family, and followers to support your video and boost your chances of winning!

What is the deadline for the submission?

Participants have to take eligibility test until the 15th of June 2024 and submit their video until the 20th of June 2024.
